Cracked leather, a sagging roof lining, a driver’s seat bolster worn through. Retrimmed properly in our own workshop, in the material and colour you choose.
Interiors age faster in the UAE than anywhere most owners have driven before. A car parked outdoors here bakes daily, and heat plus UV is exactly what dries out leather, shrinks adhesive and fades trim. The result is predictable: a cracked driver’s seat, a headliner starting to droop at the rear, and a steering wheel that has gone shiny and sticky, on a car that is otherwise mechanically fine.
Not every interior needs stripping. A cigarette burn, a single split seam or one worn bolster is a repair, and it costs a fraction of a retrim. Colour restoration also works well on leather that is faded and dry but not cracked through.
Once the leather has cracked through the top layer, or the foam beneath has collapsed, patching stops being economical because the repair will fail next to material that is still failing. That is the point to retrim the panel or the seat. We will show you which category your car is in before quoting, because sending you away with a repair that will not hold is worse for us than not taking the job.
| Package | Panels Covered | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Front End | Full front bumper, bonnet leading edge, mirror caps, headlights | Daily drivers on highway commutes. Covers roughly 90 percent of real chip damage for the lowest cost. |
| Full Front | Full bonnet, full front bumper, full front fenders, mirrors, headlights, A-pillars | Dark or metallic paint where a chip line across the bonnet would be obvious. |
| Full Body | Every painted exterior panel | New, leased or high-value cars, and anything you intend to resell with original paint. |
| High-Wear Kit | Door cups, door edges, sills, boot loading lip, rear arch behind the wheel | Add-on to any package. Cheap, and it covers the damage that actually shows on inspection. |
| Track and Off-Road Pack | Full front plus rocker panels, rear arches and lower doors | Desert and gravel use, where damage comes from below rather than head on. |
Material choice matters more in this climate than in most. Genuine leather looks and smells right but needs conditioning to survive UAE heat. Modern automotive-grade synthetic leather handles heat and UV very well, cleans easily, and on a family car with children in the back it is often the more sensible choice.
Alcantara grips beautifully and stays cooler to the touch than leather, which is a genuine benefit in August, but it needs more careful cleaning. Perforated inserts help ventilated seats work and keep the seat cooler on a car parked in the sun.
We will bring out samples and let you feel them. Interior material is not something to choose from a photograph.
Seats come out of the car and are stripped to the frame. Old covers are used as patterns so the new panels fit the foam exactly rather than being pulled tight over an approximation.
Foam is repaired or replaced where it has collapsed, which is what actually causes a seat to look tired even after new covers. New panels are cut, stitched and fitted, then everything is refitted with seat electrics and airbag connections reconnected and checked. Cars with side airbags in the seat backs are trimmed with the correct tear seams intact, which is not something to compromise on.
Price is driven by how many panels are involved, the material grade and the complexity of the stitching.
CarBros is at Showroom No. 3, 8th Street, next to HMS Al Garhoud Hospital, Al Garhoud, Dubai, open seven days from 9:00 AM until midnight. Trimming is done in house, so you are dealing with the people doing the work rather than a shop subcontracting it out.
It depends on how many panels are being trimmed, the material and the stitching detail. A single worn bolster is a small job, a full leather retrim on a seven-seater is a large one. Send CarBros photos of the damage with your make, model and year on WhatsApp for a realistic range.
Heat. The headliner fabric is bonded to a foam backing, and sustained high temperatures break that foam down until the fabric separates from the shell. It is one of the most common interior faults on cars parked outdoors here. Re-gluing the old fabric does not last, the panel needs recovering with fresh material.
Yes, and often that is the right call. The driver's outer bolster wears long before the rest of the interior. We can replace a single panel and colour match it to the existing seats. Where the leather has cracked through or the foam has collapsed, a full seat retrim is the more durable answer.
Genuine leather looks and feels best but needs regular conditioning to survive the heat. Modern automotive synthetic leather resists heat and UV very well, cleans easily and costs less, which makes it a strong practical choice for a family car. We will show you samples of both.
A single panel repair can often be done in a day. A full seat set is typically three to five days, and a complete interior including headliner, door cards and dashboard takes longer. We confirm the timeline when we see the car.
Not when it is done properly. Seats with side airbags are built with specific tear seams that must be reproduced exactly so the airbag deploys through the seam as designed. We trim those seats accordingly and reconnect and check all seat electrics on refitting.
Drop the car in, or send us photos on WhatsApp and we will quote before you drive over. We are on 8th Street next to HMS Al Garhoud Hospital, open seven days from 9:00 AM until midnight.
